Canons latest line of compact cameras started with the SD200 and the SD300. The only difference being 3.2 or 4.0 MegaPixels (The manual included was actually written for both cameras). This has been a popular camera with 3 purchases within silverorange. We are big fans.
I'll not go into full technical details. There is no reason to repeat when dpreview already does a great job of this.
Canon continues to release updated models with bigger screens and higher megapixel counts but if the newer models are as good as the ones we have, I'd recommend one for an easy to carry pocket camera with good results.
